DOG FRIENDLY DAYS OUT IN POLZEATH

P olzeath Beach is dog friendly throughout the year, although there is a seasonal time-restricted ban from 10am to 6pm, between May 15th and September 30th. Nestled along the coastal path towards Daymer Bay is Greenaway Beach. This hidden gem is almost always quiet and offers coarse sand and rock pools at low tide. It’s dog friendly all year round.

1. POLZEATH TO THE RUMPS

Trek east along the scenic coastal path from Polzeath to The Rumps. This twin headland is home to one of Cornwall’s most iconic views. Pentire Point frames the rugged rock formation perfectly, and it’s known for looking like a restful dragon. This curious landmark also features the remnants of an Iron Age fort at Rumps Point.
